FROM IDEA TO PROJECT

The project aims to prepare future graduates for the European labour market with a threefold action:

  • developing and disseminating a model for the acquisition of language skills
  • to promote innovative educational practices by integrating technology into the language acquisition process
  • develop and make available an attractive, intuitive and multilingual tool that will be accessible free of charge

Smarted will have the role of implementing the APP by defining the technical specifications, designing and implementing the AI modules.

THE PRODUCT DEVELOPED BY SMARTED

The “Alice in Gameland” app was developed as an internal app within the Erasmus+ Gameland project – “Gamification Assets for Multisensorial Educational Tools in Language Learning using co-creation for addressing Needs and Desires of students”. It is designed primarily for use in educational contexts with the aim of improving foreign language skills. It is a smartphone application compatible with devices running the Android operating system and equipped with an NFC reader. Alice in Gameland, through the smartphone and NFC technology, allows users to experience an augmented reality escape room in which users are invited to move around their environment to solve riddles in Wonderland. Along the way, users are immersed in Alice’s adventures and must make their own contribution to complete her journey. They will be asked to find the right answer to the puzzle presented by the app by interacting directly with the environment and objects around them.
